Today I received an e-mail telling me I have passed all four of the Senior Ordination Exams. While I have not gotten the paperwork back, knowing my grades releases a lot of anxiety for me. Thank you to everyone who helped me through the Ords. I could not have passed without the help the Cloud of Witnesses: my professors, my mentors, my pastors, my friends, my colleagues, my family, and the writers of all the resources I used.
Congratulations! I took the Ords 43 years ago and can still recall the relief I felt. I have enjoyed your postings so much, and now I vicariously celebrate all over again with you.
Congratulations. I am the spouse of a pastor (recently retired) who “went through” the exams (and evaluations, psychological) in 1979 / 1980 for her June 15 ordination that year. I remember the relief with the good news. Thanks for sharing your accomplishments.
